The Java update published over the weekend caused conflicts with the image viewer we use for our Mortgage, Conveyance, Marriage, and Criminal Records. The conflict is preventing our users from opening our scanned images in these Indexes through the application.
We are actively working with our software Vendor to reprogram our software to work without these problems. We did implement an update early this morning but it didn't produce the desired results. Another update is in the works. We do not have an eta for publication of the update at this time. Our goal is to have this resolved by the end of the day today.
Due to recommendations recently made by US Homeland Security the publishers of the most popular Internet browsers have made updates to their applications that disable JAVA by default.
One of our search applications (Mortgage, Conveyance, Marriage and Criminal) requires a Java update and you to enable Java to open images using Internet Explorer, Fire Fox, or Google Chrome.
We have created a set of instructions, with pictures, to show you how to perform this task. If you need additional assistance on our web search please call our office 1-337-437-3558 ext 185 during regular business hours; 8:30am-4:30pm. One of our technicians will assist you.
