This site is best viewed using a screen resolution setting of 800x600. Follow these instructions to adjust your computer's settings.Close all open windows.

  • Close all open windows. RIGHT CLICK anywhere where there are no icons on your Desktop (where the icons are) - choose Properties.

  • On the Display Properties box click the SETTINGS TAB

  • Slide the Screen Area slide bar to the 800 by 600 position - then Click OK


OTHER SETTINGS

  • You must have cookies enabled to access active server pages for Resolution Web Search.
  • You must have Javascript enabled

By default, all of the above items are enabled upon initial installation of a browser.

  • You must have Java Virtual Machine installed to view images

The latest version of JAVA is not compatable. This version Click Here is more desirable. Follow onscreen instructions to install.

Cott 801 Error when viewing images

Note:This error is caused by Privacy Settings in your Firewall and/or AntiVirus Products.
Specifically the setting related to HTTP Referrer needs to be disabled.

  • If you are using Norton...
    • Select Privacy Control|Enable Browser Privacy
  • If you are using Zone Alarm...
    • Select Privacy|Remove Private Header Information

Disabling the above options will correct the Cott 801 Error.

Unable to view images

  • You must have Java Virtual Machine Installed.
  • Delete the cookies and temp internet files.
  • Remove Daeja as a trusted publisher.

How to Enable Cookies

Internet Explorer

  • Version 6.x
    • Click Tools on the menu at the top of your browser and select Internet Options
    • Click the Privacy tab at the top of the screen
    • Move the slider to Medium and click OK
  • Version 5.x
    • Click Tools on the menu at the top of your browser and select Internet Options
    • Click the Security tab at the top of the screen
    • Click Custom Level and scroll down to the Cookies section
    • Set "Allow per-session cookies" to Enable and click OK
  • Version 4.x
    • Click View on the menu at the top of your browser and select Internet Options
    • Click the Security tab at the top of the screen
    • Click Custom Level and scroll down to the Cookies section
    • Select "Always accept cookies" or "Prompt before accepting cookies" and click OK

Netscape Navigator

  • Version 7.x and 6.x
    • Click Edit on the menu at the top of your browser and select Preferences
    • Find "Privacy & Security" in the menu on the left. If there is a triangle pointing to the right next to Privacy & Security, click it.
    • Select "Cookies" under "Privacy & Security"
    • Select "Enable cookies for the originating web site only" or "Enable all cookies" and click "OK"
  • Version 4.x
    • Click Edit on the menu at the top of your browser and select Preferences
    • Select "Advanced"
    • Select "Accept all cookies" or "Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server" and click OK

How to enable Javascript

Internet Explorer

  • Version 6.x and 5.x
    • Click Tools on the menu at the top of your browser and select Internet Options
    • Click the Security Tab at the top of the screen
    • Click Custom Level and scroll down to the Scripting section
    • Select "Enable" to turn Java Script support on and click ok

Netscape Navigator

  • Version 7.x
    • Click Edit on the menu at the top of your browser and select Preferences
    • Find "Advanced" in the menu on the left. If there is a triangle pointing to the right next to Advanced, click it
    • Select Scripts & Plugins
    • Place a check mark in the Navigator box, located on the top section of the Scripts & Plugins page and click ok
  • Version 6.x and 4.x
    • Click Edit on the menu at the top of your browser and select Preferences
    • Find "Advanced" in the menu on the left. If there is a triangle pointing to the right next to Advanced, click it
    • Place a check mark in the Enable Java box
    • Place a check mark in the Enable JavaScript for Navigator box and click ok

Turning your Windows XP Personal Firewall on or off

  • Windows XP Menu
    • Click Windows Start
    • Move your mouse cursor to "Connect to" until it is highlighted
    • Right Click on the Internet connection you use
    • Click on Properties on the drop down menu that appears
    • Click on the "Advanced" tab on the window that appears
    • Under the first area called "Internet connection Firewall" click on the box next to "protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet" to put a check mark there to turn the firewall on.
    • To turn it off click on the same box to take the check mark out.
    • Click on OK
  • Windows Classic Start Menu
    • Click on Windows Start
    • Click on Settings
    • Click on Network Connections
    • Right Click on your Internet connection you use to connect to the Internet
    • Click on Properties
    • Click on the "Advanced" tab on the window that appears
    • Under the first area called "Internet Connection Firewall" click on the box next to "protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet" to put a check mark there to turn the firewall on.
    • To turn it off click on the same box to take the check mark out.
    • Click on OK
